    Description

    Lot of 3 Shenango Inca Ware Rose Point soup bowls in excellent used condition. The body of the bowls is tan with a charming dark red or maroon floral border.
    Measure about 7.375" diameter. Very slight scratches from mild use on the bottom of the bowls. No chips, flea bites, or cracks visible on any of the 3 bowls in the lot; all have a set of 3 kiln stilt marks on the reverse of the rim. (The photo of the bottom of the bowl shows one of the stilt marks toward the bottom left.)
    The mark on the bottom is in 2 colors, with Inca Ware in gold and
    Shenango China
    New Castle, Pa.
    U.S.A.
    in black, with no date code. The multi-color mark resembles a Shenango
    trademark reportedly used between 1927 and 1948.
