Sweet Potato Vine
Bright LIME GREEN leaves.  This sweet potato vine is one of several annual ornamental vines. These are popularly used as “spiller” in a container or hanging arrangement, it’s also used as a groundcover with bright contrast in flower beds and, being a vine, can be easily trained to grow up a trellis.  The photos show a variety ofdecorative deployments.
Prefers full sun, but will tolerate shade with at least 5 hours of sun.
Plant deeply (2-3 inches deep) allow roots to anchor well. Margarita vines are naturally strong and fast growers when given proper sun & water, they can be aggresive but are also easy to lift and turn to your desired direction.  They are also very easy to trim.  They have a decent natural disease resistance.

Being in SE Texas, we have these deployed around the yard in all different ways.  Freezing temps have wiped out the vines each year, but new growth has consistently re-emerged from the roots in early summer and begin to explode beginning in July, reaching lengths of 6-9 feet long, and lasting generally through November before becoming dormant again.
Your slips will be 6-8 in. long and arrive with the roots wrapped to maintain moisture.  Upon arrival, we recommend placing these in about 2" of  water at least overnight to rehydrate them.  Plant in well drained soil and remember that THEY THRIVE IN THE SUN.
