    Description

    This impressive lead framed
    Glassmasters NY
    John La Farge reproduction piece was produced in the 1980's for the Metropolitan Museum of Art gift store. Many separate colors were silk screened on heavy glass and then fired to create the beautiful opalescent glass effect. Panel measures 7 3/4" x 13 1/2" to outside of frame with holes on the top for hanging; chain is missing. With MMA hallmark on the bottom right as shown; this is a fine example of early Glassmasters at its best.
