original antique 1903 sideshow freaks photo casper soap king kobel indiana stamp
VERY RARE image.  the back of image has the handwritten notation including the age of original image from 1903.
also is a stamp: "Babe W. PROPERTY".  anyone know who this might be?
the age of this photo print dates from 1940s (possibly early 1950s) as it is Kobel stamped with the indiana address before he moved to florida.  super rare to find these indiana stamped kobels.
no idea what a soap king is.  haha but last photo in the listing is a screen grab (not included with the sale but to provide historical context) from an 1890s ad that shows casper was part of a dime museum sideshow.  the casper picture is super cool.
size is 5x7 inches.
the two images on description are 300 dpi scans.
original and authentic vintage kobel photo.  this is not any sort of recent reprint.
quality is great with some age toning of the photo paper.  no rips tears or folds.
