The MXL770 is mounted on a stand with
multiple points of length and angle adjustment.
Its setup includes a dual-layer pop filter, a microphone shock mount, a preamplifier with variable gain and phantom power and the USB audio adapter. All cables are p
rofessional,
connected in balanced mode for low electrical interference and are attached to the stand with cable clips.
When the USB interface is plugged into a PC, Windows 10 will self-install a "USB PnP Sound Device", allowing the microphone to be defined as an input in Sound Settings. The signal gain can be step-trimmed from the microphone itself (0/-10dB) and - over a continuous 50dB range, from the ROLLS preamplifier.  Everything functions according to the factory spec.
