    Description

    Wonderful old photographer of three pre? teenagers playing croquet by Traveling Photographer Bert Anderson out of Toronto, Kansas.  Only could find a couple of references for him online and none in the standard references.
    Looks like late 1880s or early 1890s clothing.  Alas our gentleman in the middle is not Billy the Kid, notorious croquet player and whatnot....    Trimmed top corners make this the size and shape of 1/2 of a stereoview- just a photo though.  Great details-  I mean look at the gear- from a time when Mallet meant something!
