5000 btu window air conditioner with remote

I used this AC months on end in the HOT Mojave desert (well over 100 degrees).  This Keystone AC kept our room cool and great for sleeping.  Absolutely deliciously cool.  My roomate fiddled wirh the remote but I never did.  What is the point?  So easy to walk over and press the button on the unit for temperature higher or lower.  It shows the degrees and the AC pump stops once it gets there.  I can set it to continue blowing after that or just be silent ( off) until the room temperature goes above the set degrees.  It is very important to insulate around the unit.  In fact, it still has a little caulk stuck on it.  Also, make sure you occasionally take out the filter. It slides out easy and I just cleaned it with water in the sink. Very quick and simple. But it works better and the cool air is more fresh.  I will ship it for .00. Or you can pick it up in Gardena CA for free.  I will deliver it anywhere within 50 miles of Gardena to your location AND install it in your window using proper 1.5" thick foam insulation all for an extra 0.00 but if you decide to do it yourself, PLEASE don't just haphazardly set it on the windowsill and rip a few pieces of cardboard and shove them in the gaps around the unit. It would be a shame to let such a great unit be unfairly used like that.  I moved from the desert to a nice condominium in Gardena with central air conditioning.  My Southern California Edison Power bill last month was a whopping 1.00!! So, in some ways I miss my old apartment in the desert with this Keystone AC unit keeping my room cool at a much lower cost! However,  I can't really use it here.  So, if you have a single room ( not a 1900 square foot house!) you want cool, this is your unit.  And if your location is within 50 miles of Gardena I may be the one to install it for you.  Or not.  The choice is yours to make.🥵🥵🤔😮🙂
